The itinerary is simply a plug-in~
WE RIDE BY BIKES TO TORONTO CENTRAL ISLAND!
After going out for music lessons in the morning, we headed south, because the trip is a whole day. We want to choose a free parking lot, park the car at a Walmart, and start riding.
The first stop is Dufferin Park, which is always on the mind of children. This park is very interesting. In addition to water and sand, there are countless shovels and wooden boards of different sizes for children to carry, dig channels, cover Bridges, and build houses. You can always play for a long time without getting tired. Because we are going to the central island today to watch the dragon boat race, we just thought about it, and without letting them build for too long, we continued to jump on the bicycle and rush to our destination!
The mobile phone was out of power, so we rode all the way to the port under the GPS navigation in our head. On the way, we passed the large-scale street closure event of College St. Taste is Back. , it has become a lively night market street, without feeling the impact of the epidemic, people almost flocked out, full of the summer style of Toronto in the past!
Just as I was riding, taking pictures, and venting, suddenly several passers-by shouted at me. I couldn't understand the situation. When I took a closer look, it was a coincidence that it was the Wu family. There were people in the crowd. I care that you feel this way, so I changed my plan temporarily, and went to Tim Hortons with them to have a break and chat, so happy!
After the small gathering, we continued on our way to the Central Island of Toronto, and we drove all the way to the lakeside port. We bought the ferry tickets with the app and boarded the ship. In our minds, "I spent half a year of savings for you and I came across the sea." Look at you'' No, the ferry tickets are also cheap, the round-trip price for adults is CAD $8.7, and the round-trip price for children under 14 is CAD $4.1. In fact, there are many private water taxi companies, and there are so many kinds of them that we couldn't find them at first. Take the ferry.
On the ferry, it is divided into upper and lower floors. The upper floor is a semi-open space surrounded by fences and not covered, while the lower floor is similar to a general cabin, with space for glass and benches. Since there is no elevator, we also bring bicycles. If you can take the lower deck, most of the tourists choose the upper deck to enjoy the 360-degree surrounding scenery. There are relatively few people on the lower deck, and you can see life jackets all over the sky when you look up.
When we arrived, I immediately continued to jump on the bicycle and headed to the home of the dragon boat race. Seeing that the crowd was still on the road, but on the lake track, there were only a few players left in the practice race_Canada Goose (baby) . In the end, we still missed the race , and the kids cried in disappointment. In order to make up for the sadness, we went to the food stall next to us. When we saw the salty crispy chicken from Taiwan, the boss who would definitely cheer for anything was very kind and the food was delicious. Our salty crispy chicken chatted with me, worried that the fire was not strong enough, and changed the gas tank, and finally gave us a Taiwan sausage, which is the second surprise of today! Thank you so much, boss, and we will keep in touch with each other later!
After eating, we cycled around the island and stayed on the beach for a long time. The bridge on the island is very similar to the Penghu sea-crossing bridge. The wind blowing has some childhood memories. We used binoculars to see if we could see the poems and the distance.
There is a forest maze on the island. We experienced it together. The maze is not small. The children taught us the secret. If you keep your right hand following the wall, you will definitely be able to walk to the exit. We tried it and it really worked. He said it was learned from comics. of.
As the sun went down, we were ready to go back, take the boat back to the city, and continue to the parking lot. On the way, we met the Toronto Mounted Police, who were patrolling the park on horses. The children were super pleasantly surprised, and the police elder brother also generously let them touch the horse. And taking pictures, this is probably the most exciting part for kids today.
We continued on the road, and it took us more than an hour to get to the parking lot. When we got in the car, it was already 9:39 pm. Mother kept shouting iron legs along the way. Instead, it was the children who kept cheering for their mother, and finally didn’t give up and persisted in riding to the car. It was almost 10:30 when I got home. We used a bowl of instant noodles in the late-night cafeteria to comfort the whole family for a day’s hard work.
