Doors Open Ontario 2022

上週是多倫多市的開放日，這週換Ontario省際開放日，音樂課一結束，我們就直接往北邊來參訪，Latcham藝術中心今天是油畫展，作品是半抽象的但蠻有特色，孩子問我，人真的分得清是藝術作品還是隨便亂撇的呢？我默默的笑了，大概他們覺得這些作品跟自己亂塗的沒什麼區別 參訪後，還有兒童手作區可以動動手，弟弟做了小猴子和漢堡，姊姊做了小小兵和三明治，我則做了一個小女生，捏黏土真的很療癒呀! 

手作結束後，爸爸帶我們去搭森林小火車，這個森林小火車是一群對火車充滿熱情的工程師，多年的歲月所製作出的蒸汽火車縮小原型，動力車頭的部分，是需要添煤炭與加水來產生蒸汽帶動車廂，依據解說人員說明，以往每年都會有兩次開放日以供民眾參觀，無奈因為疫情的關係已經有兩年不開放參觀了，直到今年疫情稍微好轉，才又再一次開放給民眾參觀搭乘，真的是非常幸運。今天到了現場看到實體模型，大人小孩都非常興奮，火車路線分為好幾條，短的路線搭乘一周，大概是2分鐘，而最長的路線大約是8分鐘。搭車的過程真的是充滿樂趣，大人都覺得很驚喜連連，孩子們更是非常的興奮，一連搭了好幾回。

希望接下來世界的疫情都能夠越來越穩定，而我們能夠探索的地方也越來越多，生活恢復平靜與安穩，所愛的人也平安健康。

Doors Open Ontario 2022

Last week was Toronto's Open Day, and this week it was the Ontario Inter-Provincial Open Day. As soon as the music class was over, we headed north to visit. Today is an oil painting exhibition at Latcham Art Center. The works are semi-abstract but quite distinctive. , The child asked me, can people really tell whether it is a work of art or a random scribble? I laughed silently, probably they felt that these works were no different from the ones I scribbled. Then I became a little girl, and kneading clay is really healing.

After the hand-made, Dad took us to take the forest train. This forest train is a group of engineers who are passionate about trains. The steam train has been made a miniature prototype over the years. The part of the power locomotive needs to be filled with coal and water. To generate steam to drive the carriage, according to the narrator, there used to be two open days every year for the public to visit, but unfortunately, it has been closed for two years due to the epidemic. People are really lucky to visit and ride. Today, I went to the scene to see the physical model. Adults and children are very excited. There are several train routes. The short route takes about 2 minutes for a week, and the longest route is about 8 minutes. The ride-hailing process was really fun. The adults were very surprised, and the children were even more excited. They took the ride several times in a row.

I hope that the epidemic situation in the world will become more and more stable in the future, and there will be more and more places we can explore, life will return to peace and stability, and our loved ones will be safe and healthy.
