因為它有著原本古老的服務館，再直接接合一棟新大樓，融合了新建、新造的現代金屬結合玻璃帷幕造型之新型建築，非常突出的一棟古今建築。也因此這是我們開放日遊覽中，一大早的第一個景點。

建議前往參訪的大家，可以優先考慮藉由搭乘地鐵的方式前往，即可到達博物館站，可免去停車與市區交通擁擠的困擾。

搭乘地鐵一抵達，我們就二話不說直達安省博物館正門口， 從新穎氣派正門直直的要進門時，服務員提到今日的正門口是給一般會員參觀使用，提供給大眾開放日使用的是在左側之古典大門。

馬上接著我們就充滿期待的從左側，從沒嘗試過且古典的入口，馬上進入安省博物館，有別於新入口一入門就一整排售票人員，一踏入門口，就完全不同，印入眼簾馬上就是一個挑高的黃金色的瓊頂。

讓人馬上回到百年前的歷史光景。一進入博物館展區，主題就是加拿大的原住民展，展出加拿大原住民之日常生活食衣住行的所有器械生活展，比如如何在冰天雪地中蓋雪屋。也讓孩子多了解原住民文化，多一點多元文化的包容，因為這兩年新住民與原住民，在新聞媒體上也被熱烈討論。
