A few days after the hatching of their mother, these cute goslings find themselves more and more confident about walking on the ground. Although they keep extremely close to the mother, they are bold enough to move slowly and are even willing to let their mother slowly turn her head to see what is going on behind them.
In a few days, as the mother goose gets healthier, the young ones will be more playful and run around. If a goose family is living nearby, they will no doubt join them in their games.
When they are older and ready to fly, their journey will begin. They will fly northward thousands of miles until they reach the open waters of the Arctic Ocean. There they will spend most of their lives hunting among the floating ice, diving under water to catch fish, swimming every day when it is warm enough and resting on the ice as long as it is too cold to move around.
